Benedict + Joy’s Onsite Photo Slideshow

Last year, two places in San Juan, Batangas were the ‘talk of the town’ : One’s San Juan Nepomuceno church, where the famous local stars Ryan Agoncillo and Judy Ann Santos tied the knot, and the other’s the Acuatico Beach resort, a newly-opened premium leisure resort that quickly became one of the top travel destinations in our country today.

So glad Benedict and Joy chose these places for the celebration of their union.

I’ll be posting the photos here very soon. In the meantime, here’s the same-day edit slideshow I did for my lovely couple. The song used was Benedict’s remixed version of his fave 80′s tune, “Electric Dreams.”

The couple were booked on the same hotel so I was able to shoot a bit of Melissa’s preps before going to Stewart’s suite.

Cute nieces of Stewart welcomed me as I entered the room. All dressed up, and very eager to not only attend the wedding, but to harass the photographer, haha! Took shots of these cuties hundreds of times with their own different poses!

Always a pleasure to work with the masters of wedding photography & videography. Here’s Nelwin Uy and Jason Magbanua shooting side by side during the ceremony.

Seven Suites Hotel in Antipolo City is just a 10-minute drive from my place… on a motorbike, that is. So when Nelwin asked me to go straight there where Jack (the groom) will be having his preps, never had second thoughts on using Puring, my use-around-Marikina-only motorbike. I have very low tolerance for ‘trafficky’ areas anyways and always loathed the thought of keeping grooms , or brides, waiting.

Never had the chance to shoot Ruth’s preps and her solo portraits, so I just shared here my shots of “big guy” Jack.

Speaking of Dylan, this was my second time to witness the skills and creativity of the master of floral arts. Very very impressive indeed. Enjoyed shooting his arrangements so much that I thought of sharing with you some of my shots during the ceremony.

Melo + Karel (Bryan Yap Photography)

The most awaited day for Melo & Karel… and me! We did our engagement shoot six months ago… yes it was too early, but it helped build up the excitement all the more in all of us, haha!

One of the best garden weddings I’ve ever been to. Karel wanted an autumn-inspired theme, and Dylan of Vatel Manila delivered perfectly. It captured the couple’s personalities very well, and helped create the mood for everyone present in the wedding.

My first time to shoot for Jeff & Lisa, owners of the renowned Jeff & Lisa Photography Studio. It was their first time to have a third photographer and I was so glad I was the lucky one chosen, and at the same time, happy I was able to shoot side by side with them.

Kyle’s 10th Birthday (Bryan Yap Photography)

Game Gym in Greenhills, San Juan, has always been Kyle’s favorite ‘playground’ for his birthday party. His birthday last year was also celebrated in this place, and I was also the lucky photographer the family has chosen to cover it.

For this year, there were more kiddie guests who came over and enjoyed the fun place. There are some who enjoyed playing the more ‘physical’ type of games…

some enjoyed the less exhausting means…

…and there are those who amused themselves with Nintendo WII games which requires action also on the part of the player.

Speaking of which, this game console has sports games that could really really be loads of fun!

With it, you could be Manny Pacquiao…

… or be Babe Ruth!

But birthday boy Kyle enjoyed his party doing what he really loves doing: biking for one…

…and sharing his fondness of devouring ice cream with his elder sister!

It’s really an understatement to say everyone had so much fun celebrating birthday boy Kyle’s 10th year. Not only did they enjoy the place, but also they were treated with oh so yummy meals and goodies!

Happy 10th year, Kyle! Wishing you and your family all the best and happiness in the world!

I went straight to Carlo’s place in Makati, just a stone-throw away from the hotel where Carla was billeted for the preps. Never felt any tension in the air. Very positive, and very uncommon for a groom. Same thing with Carla as soon as I went to her hotel room. Her family’s all enthusiastic yet so relaxed, just like her.

I will never forget how sooooo cool this couple was on their very special day.

Melo & Karel – Engagement shoot at UPIS/ UP Diliman

They have known each other since highschool in UPIS, then Melo & Karel became lovers eventually when they were in college in UP Diliman. And now, after almost 7 years, Melo thought, and I quote, “Nagayuma na ako, pinikot, at binigyan pa ng ultimatum”… and so they have decided to tie the knot before the end of this year.

I’m so glad this very lovely couple decided to have their engagement shoot on places very memorable to them both. Along the way, I got to see, shoot, and be in the good old college building I have spent four very meaningful years of my life… being a consistent ‘pasaway’ to everyone, hehe.
